Fallout 5: 8 Things That Need To Happen In 2018

3. Release A Remaster Of New Vegas To Build Anticipation

A rumour that's been circulating for a year or so now, there's a chance the next Fallout release won't be a sequel or a spin-off at all, but rather a remaster. With Bethesda going to great lengths to get Fallout 3 unbanned in Germany and a New Vegas remaster touted for a 2018 release, players are being cautiously optimistic about receiving a bundle of the two last-gen games together next year.

To be honest, it's surprising that Bethesda haven't remastered their Fallout games before now. The inescapable re-releases of Skyrim have proven that the devs aren't averse to updating their most successful games, and a bundled version of the cult-classic New Vegas and world-dominating 3, with all the DLC included for current consoles, would go down a storm.

Obviously, a true follow up would be appreciated, but if the devs aren't going to get around to working on the franchise properly for a few years, a remastered re-release would go a long way in tiding players over.
