Fallout 5: 8 Things That Need To Happen In 2018

4. Reveal Plans For VR Integration

In a move nobody saw coming, Bethesda have been one of the few major companies to truly embrace VR.

Admittedly, this fondness for the new technology probably had something to do with the fact that it allowed them to sell yet another version of Skyrim to customers, but still, between that game, Fallout and Doom VFR, it's clear the company is smitten with virtual reality systems.

The next step, obviously, would be implementing this support out of the box for their next major release. Because that probably won't be Fallout, a statement in 2018 laying out their plans for VR features in upcoming titles could be enough to get players excited about the prospect of playing a true sequel entirely in virtual reality.

Although they've put a lot of effort into experimenting with VR releases, Bethesda need to reiterate their commitment to the tech in the future, hopefully leading to a Fallout sequel fans can lose themselves in more than ever.
