9. Fernandinho
The Man City midfield maestro was absolutely crucial to their record-breaking 2017/18 season. He gets less plaudits than his teammates but his performances and influence should score him a high 80 rating.
Fernandinho bagged a rating of 85 in FIFA 18, which is the same as his Man City peer, Ilkay Gundogan. Not many would argue against the idea that Fernandinho is a better player than Gundogan and has a much bigger impact for City. He may not be as crucial to his team as Kevin De Bruyne, but Fernandinho is certainly number two or three in the champions' squad.
