GTA Online Leaked Heist Footage: 8 Things We Learned

We still don't know when they are coming to the game legitimately, but whet your appetite with these 8 key points we learned from the leak.

On Monday, information began to leak out online that it was possible to access one of Rockstar's heist missions for GTA Online, by using a DNS server to essentially access an unfinished beta of the level. A quick Google search will explain to you how to tweak your console settings to that end, though be warned: Rockstar appear to be tracking these servers, and are banning any players who they catch using them. Instead, perhaps check out some video walkthroughs of the level here, here and here. Some players remain unconvinced that the level is legitimate, due to several spelling mistakes noticeable throughout (the word entrance is spelled as "enterance"), as well as the possibility that the mission was mocked up by a clever player who somehow gained access to the Create-A-Mission aspect of the new Content Creator. Bear in mind, however, that this is apparently a beta and was never intended to be seen by the general public, so it's going to be sloppy. Furthermore, the above videos are from three independent players who were able to access it, so the simple solution could be that it is merely a crude version of what a final heist will look like. As a result, it's best to remember that if it's real, the end product should run much smoother than this, and of course, this is just one of the many heists promised throughout the game. We still don't know when they are coming to the game legitimately, but whet your appetite with these 8 key points we learned from the leak.
