Grand Theft Auto V - A game that never seems to be very far from
the public eye. This week, fans of Rockstar Game's fervently anticipated crime title are expecting to see the official box art for the game, revealed in the form of a mural in Manhattan. Meanwhile, last week, we were treated to
ten new screenshots. In spite of its delay from spring until September 17th, anticipation and interest remains at a fever pitch with many fans across the world heading to Google and punching in "GTA V News" each and every single day. This is due mainly to the fact that there is still so very much we don't know about the game, and considering there are still so many unanswered questions and untied loose ends, it's hardly surprising fans are so excited. Here, we thought we'd round up 10 insane rumours about the game that we really hope are true.
10. Return Of The Tank?
The tank, or Rhino, as it is otherwise known, is one of the most durable, destructive vehicles in the GTA series to date. Its abilities to run over any vehicles that lie in its path, reducing them to exploded, burnt out shells, along with the rocket launcher-type turret mounted on its roof makes it one of our favourite vehicles of all time. Due to its near indestructibility, it makes for fantastic use in rampages or in dealing with enemy fire, though unfortunately, it didn't make an appearance in GTA IV, Rockstar's latest outing in the main series of the game. It could be about to make its long awaited return in GTA V, however. On May 15th, 2012, it was discovered that Max Payne 3's disc held information on GTA V's vehicles, buried deep within its source code. This happened before with
Bully and
Red Dead Redemption and a full list of vehicle names were extracted from the code and
posted online. One of the vehicle names on there - Rhino.
