In a game called Grand Theft Auto it can surely be no surprise that it features cars. A lot of cars. Many of which the player will obtain through illegal and downright unscrupulous ways. While the Grand Theft Auto games often boast a colourful cast of characters who accompany you on your rags to riches or vengeful story. It has to be said without the many planes, trains and auto-mobiles that make up our virtual playground of destruction, each with their own values and characteristics, GTA just wouldn’t be the same.
With that in mind join me as What Culture highlights not 5, not 10 but 15 classic vehicles that need to make an appearance in GTA 5.
1, 2 & 3. The Super Cars
We love to go fast. Whether it’s weaving in and out of the Liberty City traffic at break neck speeds or cruising the Vice City strip in a convertible. The super cars of GTA have always delivered the danger thrill seekers yearn for, and make us look good as we go about our dubious business. While there have been all manner of fast cars to come and go in the GTA universe I’m going to stick with the classics for this list, three that will appear in GTA 5, and I can say that without a shadow of a doubt.
The Cheetah, the Infernus and the Banshee are the holy trinity of speed and sex. While I can’t really comment on the older titles, since GTA 3 anyway these have always been the cars you wish you were driving. Your getting from point A to B in a sentinel,sure it’s going to get you there, but where’s the zazz. These are the 3 cars that any player will see in the road, purposefully block the road with their not so sexy taxi, or manana and get out and jack these vehicles like it ain’t no thing. Besides, the cops will never catch you in these babies.

I wanted to see Vans and Trucks included. Maybe on another article!
The Bobcat and the Burrito were both considered. Also the flatbed with the ramp you use to jump your bike off.
clearly the writer of this article has never blasted round the streets of new york in the comet on gta iv…… its got the best handling and one of the fastest next to the lambo….
The Comet just missed out on being on the list. I decided to stick with the original trio when it came to the fast cars. That said the Comet is great to drive.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! This is LOS SANTOS, the WEST COAST! And absolutely no mention of the Savannah, the Voodoo, or the Blade??? You can’t be serious! This game’s car selection with utterly SUCK if they don’t have these Lowriders in the game!
Chances are the lowriders will make an appearance seeing as we’re going back to Los Santos. I’m not a fan, but that’s just me.

Banshee for certain, but you know you did fast cars, I would have included it, some wouldn’t, but always my favourite, probably the better handling one. BUT, what i cannot forgive is no PATRIOT!!! c’mon san andreas with the american flag version. And to be honest, i’d say THE ultimate vehicle to escape the police? your thoughts please?
*face palm* Cannot believe I forgot all about the Patriot! Had it come to mind when I was writing this, it would’ve been added. Probably one of the best of the heavier vehicles in the game.
