1. Illuminati
If you listen to any urban legend fan or conspiracy theorist, they'd have you believe that the world is full of very obvious references to secret world orders who control us all and our governments from shady clubhouses and underground societies. Chief among these clandestine organisations is the much-mentioned Illuminati, who have apparently existed for hundreds of years and are basically in charge of the planet without anyone really knowing. And their influence has spread as far as GTA V, where there is one huge reference to their secret activities, which also seems to suggest further revelations may be to come (and perhaps more areas of the map)... Rather wonderfully, there are actually people in the crazier parts of the web who believe these references to be indication that the Illuminati actually do exist and of their assistance in making GTA V, rather than the very obvious parody of that sort of silly behaviour they actually are.
