GTA V: 5 Mini-Games That Should Not Return

5. Lowrider Challenge (GTA: San Andreas)

Grand-Theft-Auto-San-Andreas The 1st rhythm game on the list and one that, despite being a side-mission, can be counted as a mini game as it uses the same mechanic as a later addition on this list. The Lowrider challenge seems on the surface to be a very cool addition to the game, utilising the game€™s ability to customize cars and therefore use them to battle other drivers. However, one major problem with the mini-game is also one that also occurs later in this list. It is that the game didn€™t provide enough of a challenge for the player. The limitations of what Rockstar chose to do with the PS2 controller meant that after a few games the player can beat every opponent and after the initial fun of seeing a lowrider dance, it eventually wears thin after only a few games. The use of the lowrider in San Andreas probably felt more obligatory, especially considering its early 90€™s ghetto environment. However, the modern day environment of GTA V probably means that while customisation will be included, the mini-game should not as it would feel an unnecessary addition.
