GTA V: 5 Things That Must Be Included

2. More Varied Multiplayer

Here€™s a controversial one that will probably provoke those on both sides of the serious/absurd binary. I think that the multiplayer needs to be slightly more varied. Having said this, I do NOT condone that more money should be pumped into the multiplayer aspect of the game to the detriment of the single player campaign, but it seems to me that there is only so many times I can turn my motorbike into a makeshift missile and fling it at a friend. Some other games are doing some really interesting things with multiplayer at the moment. In particular, GTA could learn something from Assassin's Creed, the multiplayer of which focuses on stealth and cunning rather than all out FPS violence. When you regain your humanity in Dark Souls your world could be invaded by another player. Imagine if another player spawned into Liberty City whilst you were in the middle of a mission and these invaders had the choice to help or hinder you. I think that would be really exciting and far more interesting than the current multiplayer options that GTA offers its players. Just look at the critical success that Journey received. It seems that players are starting to look for more interesting and varied ways to interact with each other through gameplay.
