4. Flying Is Going To Be An Amazing Experience
In GTA IV, predecessor to V, we were relatively starved of aeronautical activity, and limited to just a few helicopters to explore the skies with. This was due mainly to the size of the map - Liberty City isn't the biggest of places and hence Rockstar felt including planes and jets was a pointless endeavour. However, the world of GTA V is going to be so huge and the countryside's, cities and oceans so sprawling, that Rockstar feel planes are overdue a triumphant return. Which makes sense really considering V is going to be bigger than the worlds of Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto IV
combined. Which is pretty darn impressive. And if gamers are going to explore every inch of a map of that scope without first being bored rigid by endless walking through deserts, they're going to need a vehicle to help cut short their journey. That's precisely why GTA V features more vehicles than in any previous game in the series to date and certainly more airplanes than ever before, too. Looking at the above image shows you just how big the map is going to be as we see roads and freeways dwindling far below in the distance as though they were mere specks, and we just know that as we commandeer a plane and look out at the sprawling terrain far beneath us, that we're going to find flying in GTA V to be an amazing experience.
