8. The Last of the Spartans (Halo Reach)

Master Chief was always referred to as being 'lucky', and this scene reminds you why. The Chief is involved in arguably more perilous situations than you can count, and always escapes relatively unharmed.

7. For a Brick, He Flew Pretty Good (Halo 2)

Cortana also realises she's not going to be having much fun for the next while with the Gravemind. As it took a number of years for the next Halo to be released, we entered into a period where we really didn't know what would happen next. Yes, Cortana was captured, but other than that, we were in the dark, and we spent a number of years waiting for the E3 2006 reveal to inform us of 'The Ark' and what Cortana had been up to, whilst the Chief was travelling.
