Mass Effect 4: 12 Brand New Features You Need To Know About

Say hello to some new characters, enemies and your new ship.

Finding their footing after the abomination that was Mass Effect 3's franchise-crippling ending was never going to be an easy task, but luckily for Bioware the universe they created in this galaxy isn't so easily toppled by some evil Reaper-like EA publisher demands.

Part of the reason everyone was so overwhelmingly deflated about the way things wrapped up, was predominantly down to such a huge amount of care being put into every other aspect of the game's production; from character models to world textures, weapon descriptions and racial motivations - in short, there were always going to be a million more plot threads ripe for the tugging if the need arose.

So, with a release date somewhere way off in the cosmos (but one that we'll get a glimpse of at E3 with any luck) you might be thinking the remaining team members over at Bioware are playing things close to their collective chest - and they were, until an online survey leak popped up and gave away a bevy of unbelievably exciting details to unpack and salivate over.

Most of the time these leaks get commented on in some official capacity - either to disprove or confirm, like Ubisoft did last year with Assassin's Creed: Victory - but so far the team seem content to let the fans eat their N7-embossed cake.

To be honest we couldn't be happier - as there's more than enough to convince fans already on board or otherwise that Mass Effect 4 is going to be one hell of an experience when it finally arrives. Take your time Bioware, if all of these things are included, it's going to be downright spectacular.
