This basically goes without saying considering the team behind the game, but yes, RDR2 looks absolutely phenomenal from a visual perspective.

There are sure to be cynics who refuse to believe the game won't be downgraded before its eventual release, but on the basis of this trailer, the lighting and facial animations in particular look like they might contribute to creating the most immersive and lived-in Rockstar world yet.

No doubt many players will gladly lose themselves in the wilderness, camping out atop a mountain and just soaking in the viewers rather than, well, killing people and actually getting missions done. This just might be the game to get a 4K TV for if you haven't already taken the plunge.
