The Walking Dead Season 2: 5 Saddest Death Scenes So Far

5. Carley/Doug

Way back in the beginning of the series, Telltale flung one of the most difficult narrative driven choices in gaming on you; choose which of these characters - that are useful for radically different reasons - would die while you save the other. This climactic cap-off to episode one really set the stage for what was to come from this series, and proved Telltale€™s claim that your choices would carry heavy consequences. Naturally, you only grew more attached to the character you saved. I actually played the game multiple times too and have seen various dialogue interactions, so I really got to understand both characters. Nevertheless, episode 3 contains a genuinely shocking moment when Lilly shoots whichever character you saved in cold blood. It€™s all because the survival group begins eroding from the inside too. Players that saved Carley may have suffered an additional emotional kick however, considering that a strong case can be made that her and Lee were subtle love interests. Losing Doug is a blow too, but realistically he€™s just the tech savvy survivor and carries slightly less importance.
