WWE 2K15: 10 Famous Wrestling Injustices You Should Put Right

The one time each year WWE puts the power in your hands.

Good always triumphs over evil on WWE programming, but unfortunately that's not always the case behind-the-scenes, and for every terrific tale we've seen unfold, on or off screen, there's one of woe to even it out. If you've watched wrestling for a good amount of time, you've likely encountered a time where you found yourself aghast over something you've seen - and not in a 'how is my hero going to bounce back from this?' way, but more like an 'I'm disgusted that someone thought this was a good idea, I'm going to break things to calm myself down' way. But with WWE video games you're given a power to not only make history, but re-write it too, and with WWE 2K15 ushering professional wrestling into a new era of gaming, fans will be in a better position than ever to right all of the WWE's many, many wrongs. Whether it be a business deal gone sour, a wrestler walking out, refusing to sign in, or a horrendously bad decision made by the company's creative department, there is so much to do. The game will be released on October 28 and 31 in the US and UK respectively (most excitingly on the Xbox One and PS4), but regardless of which region you fall in, the following are the top 10 injustices you should make right.

10. Sting Not Signing To The WWE In 2001

As you've no doubt heard by now, Sting will be playable in 2K15 - which will mark the first time The Icon will be seen in a WWE ring. But if contractual negotiations went differently between Sting and Vince McMahon back in 2001 then the former NWA Champion might have been a seasoned WWE vet by now. When Vince bought WCW thirteen years ago, almost all of it's major stars - Hulk Hogan, Goldberg, Kevin Nash, Booker T, Ric Flair, Scott Hall, Scott Steiner and so on - would end up having a run with the WWE. Some of these, such as Steiner's failed program with Triple H and Nash's injury riddled year-and-a-half with the company, were spectacularly underwhelming. Sting, fearing to suffer the same mediocre fate, opted to not sign with Vince. Instead he would eventually head to TNA, a company that has had some of the industry's biggest names and best young wrestlers yet has consistently failed to capitalise properly on their talent. While Sting had many great matches with TNA, it's a shame that he never had a go at swimming over to the wrestling business' big pond - and with WWE 2K15, you have the opportunity to see and experience all the outstanding rivalries Sting never got to have.
