WWE 2K16 Roster: 11 Superstars Who Could Make Their Franchise Debut

A roster that is bursting at the seams is a must for the new marquee game...

Even though their relationship is still in its infancy, WWE and 2K Sports need to pull one out of the bag when 2K16 is released in the Autumn. This is due to the fact that 2K15 has gone down as one of the most disastrous games in WWE history. Since starting their relationship with WWE 2K14, it has been a story of an unparalleled high coupled with a disappointing low for the new gaming franchise of professional wrestling. In what has been labelled the 'Reality Era', the two companies took things a bit too far in this respect, leaving 2K15's gameplay sluggish and sucking the fun out of what at the end of the day is still a game, something that is meant to be fun. They also left out a plethora of match types, game modes and creative features, while also having the cheek to charge us fans more for additional features that should have been included in the first place. 2K15 was a calamitous failure compared to its predecessor which combined compelling and somewhat fanciful gameplay with the best roster ever seen on a wrestling game. Period. You'd have to think that the powers that be will have to return to this formula, or at least offer us a bumper roster, to leave the WWE gaming Universe happy. And given the fact that WWE and 2K Sports will have had just under two years to develop the new gen versions of the game, rather than the few months they were afforded for 2K15, we should expect a marked improvement for more than one aspect of the game. Here are 12 superstars that should make their WWE and 2K Sports franchise debut which will go a long way to making 2K16 one of the best games in wrestling history.
