WWE 2K16 Roster: 11 Superstars Who Could Make Their Franchise Debut
10. Lanny Poffo
If there is ever going to be a year that Leaping Lanny would be included in the game then you would have thought 2K16 was the year. This is mainly due to the fact that his bother Macho Man Randy Savage was finally inducted into the WWE Hall OF Fame in 2015 and Lanny's witty yet emotional speech has made him more relevant than he has been over the last 20 years. WWE also released a DVD in Macho's honour with Poffo making a more than sizeable contribution to its production. Also, given the depth of WWE 2K14's roster, there aren't too many legends of the business that haven't already made their debut under the WWE/2K Sports umbrella. Lanny worked for the WWF from 1985 to 1992 and again in 1994, with his greater fame coming when booked as The Genius from 1989 onward. On the whole, he was a lower mid card guy so he is more than likely someone who isn't high on the list of WWE's priorities. His appeal is definitely there, however.
