10 Must-Have Albums

9. Connect the Dots - Stacy Clark

Stacy Clark has been one of my favourite female artists for quite a while. I stumbled across her when I was looking at iTune's top singer/songwriters. I listened to her 8-track LP Patterns and was enthralled. When she released her full-length album Connect the Dots I knew I was in love. Not only is Miss Clark absolutely gorgeous, but she has such a unique voice that I cannot help but fall in love with her the more I hear her sing. Her lyrics are upbeat and simple, but they suit her apparently bubbly personality. She gives off a very Zooey Deschanel-esque vibe - which is a good thing - but manages to stay different enough that the only way to describe her is, well... as Stacy Clark. I am generally not a fan of very many female musicians, but Miss Clark is a rare exception. Her clever style, her incomparable voice, and her fascinating music throughout Connect the Dots makes this album one that I highly recommend checking out.
