The Beatles: 13 Tracks To Forget

2. I Want You (She's So Heavy)

This could be one of the most polarizing songs in the Beatles' entire catalogue. There are people who love it and those who do not. I fall into the latter category.

I Want You (She's So Heavy) is so long and repetitive, not to mention pretentious, in its sole blues riff and dull lyrics. There is nothing overly unique about the tune, save for maybe the inclusion of an organ on top of the guitar, bass, and drums.

The point is that if a song is going to be over seven minutes long, it had better bring something strong to the table. Hey Jude at least has heartwarming and captivating lyrics and some key changes before its long refrain.

I Want You (She's So Heavy), on the other hand, might as well be a glorified jam session. With lyrics that repeat themselves again and again and again, it's probably the lone blemish on a fine Abbey Road album.
