13 Funniest Attempts At Being A Superhero That Failed

5. Spider-Man Drops Reporter; Looks Like A Douche

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQwO9ZpYnTQ Not many news reporters get the chance to be swept up in the arms of a costumed superhero - and that also goes for GMA's Sara Haines, whose ill-fated attempt to "get caught" by Spider-Man went wrong earlier this week, when those infamous "Spidey Senses" failed to kick in. When Spider-Man lands next to her during a pre-prepared segment, she pretends to faint... only to find the actor isn't really paying attention. Well, at least it wasn't live television or anything (it so was).

4. The Flash: Just Making Things Worse

Superhero Wheelchair Gif All right, so this clip was obviously set up on purpose to be a "thing," but whether or not the resulting accident was planned or not, well... we couldn't say. Whatever happened here, however, it's a lame attempt at being a hero anyway, and that's all that matters: The Flash (and who dresses up as The Flash anymore?) attempts to chase down a purse snatcher by leaping headfirst into a disabled person. Oh, The Flash: that's so you.

3. Batman Vs. The Bomb

Batman has been lame a bunch of times over the course of history, but he probably hasn't as lame as when filmmakers had him running around trying to solve situations like the one you can see in the picture above. That's a bomb, yes: like a big, funny bomb from a cartoon. And Batman is running through the streets trying to find a place to put it. This happened in 1966. In Batman: The Movie. We're so sorry for dragging this sh*t up again.
