Kick-Ass is perhaps the best and most resonant "attempting to be a superhero in real life" movie ever made, and its brilliant opening perfectly encapsulates the dangers that come with such temperamental territories. That's to say, trying to do what this guy - who is not the main character, we discover - does in the above clip is both a clever and candid way of warning ordinary people against the idea of taking up a life of fighting crime. It's brutal, sure, but it's also hilarious. Yes, we're sick.
1. Well, At Least She Made... An Effort?
Look, we're not here to tell people what superheroes they can and can't dress up like - who do you think we are, the "costume police"? Actually, in this case, we have to make an exception and totally take on that role, because this... this is something else. I'm sure this lady is lovely in every way outside of her occasional ventures into costumed crime-fighting, but what in THOR'S NAME HAPPENED HERE?!
