Death is a natural part of life, whether we choose to accept or flee from the very thought of it. We're raised to see it as a tragedy, as the majority of experience we will have with it will come from those we know and care about, or even those we are entertained by in the celebrity world. However, there are instances when a mixture of bad luck, irony or stupidity can gang up on some poor, unfortunate soul and deny them the rights to a sombre exit from existence. Some people are lucky enough - if that's the correct phrase for a death - to be treated to one so legendary it will go down throughout the ages as almost glorious, no matter how horrific the event may have been. For example, infamous Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin was assassinated by the Russian Prime Minister six times in one night, surviving four gun shot wounds and an attempt at poisoning before finally being clubbed to death and dumped in a nearby river. Such a death, alongside Rasputin's mysterious manner, has earned him a place in history as a man of almost supernatural powers. But for those unfortunate enough to be included on this list, it's not necessarily a case of being impressive, but more of ridiculousness.
