Humans are an inherently curious species. From explorers like Columbus to naturalists like David Attenborough, from Isaac Newton who celebrated his birthday just this Christmas past to the scientists who are creating inventions beyond your wildest dreams, we have a seemingly infinite capacity for discovery, ingenuity, and exploration. Also: humans apparently really like sticking things up their butts. Whether it's for stimulation, exploration, Jackass-style fun or just testing quite how far the rectum or butt hole, in layman's terms can be stretched, there's apparently no end to the weird and wonderful items will put up inside them. Did you know the sphincter can be stretched a pretty far way? You might need reconstructive surgery after, but still. In fact that's how you can piece together the ridiculous items that people have shoved up the wrong 'un over the course of the past twelve months: medical records. Obviously no name, details or anything, what with doctor-patient confidentiality (which probably applies even more in these cases). Why people did this is a mystery. Who they are is equally unknown.
