20 Amazing Secrets On Google Maps

7. Dead Bodies

One thing that does worry us a little bit, and probably could do with Google's intervention, is the number of dead bodies that get discovered on their satellite images. If you type 52.376552,5.198303 into Google Maps, you will find what looks like a man dragging a body into the lake in Almere, Netherlands. Thankfully on closer inspection it turns out to simply be a man and his god on a pier that has a weird red staining through the wood, but there have been legit corpses found on the service, too. Which would be a little morbid for us to link you to, plus most of them have been removed thanks to good taste and, well, the legal system, like Google Earth's image of 14-year-old murder victim Kevin Barrera.

6. Aliens

We're not sure whereabouts this guy turned up on Street View, but he sure is lifelike. We're not sure that extraterrestrial visitors would be so quick to adopt the style of a Cheech or Chong, however, which leads us to believe that this might be some sort of fake. If you want to seek out some "real" aliens on Google Maps, however, you've got lots of place to look. At least according to the UFO community, if you wanna trust their word. A user supposedly saw a spacecraft with a grey sticking its head out the top on Google Earth, flying across Trout Creek, Montana. Try typing in 47.511760, 115.364260 and see for yourself...the truth is out there, guys. Out on a piece of software that takes pictures from space.
