http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xS2BKkaIwic If you look at the video above best of boxing on Showtime from last year, you'll see 2013 was a great year for boxing. We saw many top-draw dream match ups last year; Mayweather vs. Canelo, Garcia vs. Matthyssé, Froch vs. Groves and many more. But this has left us craving more, and there's still plenty more to be made. Sadly, however, the world of boxing is a complicated one due to the multitude of sanctioning bodies, promoters and broadcasters, leading to an array of politics which prevents some of the top fights that the fans want to see from being made. Sometimes it's between the best two guys in a particular division, who haven't fought each other and it only leaves fans wondering or debating as to who is the best. The only way to settle that argument is for the two guys to stand in opposite corners. On other occasions, fans crave to simply see a bout two guys that would provide an entertaining, unpredictable showdown. This could be a mouthwatering battle between two power punchers. And then there's the big domestic dust-ups; A bout between two top level fighters in the same division from the same country. The old 'it'll be bigger when one of them has a world title' argument can often be blown out of the water when one of the guys loses on the way. You've got to make hay while the sun shines, as it were. Anyway, let's go through the Top 10 fights that need to be made.
