10 Fighters UFC Needs To Push

8. Paige VanZant

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLZobNy4ntQ Paige VanZant made headlines this week simply for being the soon-to-be youngest female fighter in the UFC. At twenty years old, the strawweight fighter was too young to compete on The Ultimate Fighter Season 20, as the drinking age in the United States remains at twenty-one. That's right, you can be paid to punch people in the face, but don't you dare take a sip of alcohol! Antiquated, draconian laws aside, VanZant suddenly has the spotlight on her just for being young, as the "couldn't fight on TUF" story made papers all over the world, and even though it wasn't intentional, the UFC would be wise to take advantage of it. With model good looks and a positive personality, she's poised to become one of the top faces in the brand new strawweight weight class, and it's a chance to build a brand new star in the UFC. She's only 3-1 in her professional career, but it's not as if pushing her would be that much of an investment.
