The biggest threat to Ronda Rousey that is actually ready to a) accept a title shot right now and b) already signed to the UFC, Cat Zingano needs to be sold to the public now. They need to know who she is. After Rousey's quick wins over Sara McMann and Alexis Davis, it isn't going to be easy to sell any fighter as a true challenge for "Rowdy" - but Cat is one. Holly Holm isn't ready to go, and Gina Carano and Cris Cyborg still aren't in the UFC - so build Zingano up now. Focus on her losing her title shot due to injury, coming back from adversity, and (though I personally wouldn't go this rout), there's the option to focus on her overcoming personal tragedy. Either way, they need to build up Zingano as a credible threat to Rousey in the eyes of the general public, so the UFC needs to start pushing her. She's got a fight coming up with Amanda Nunes, so now is the time.
