10 Players Barcelona Should Never Have Sold

5. Miguel Angel Nadal

Another lynchpin of Barcelona's "dream team", Miguel Angel Nadal made over 200 league appearances for the club and helped them to five La Liga titles, two Copas del Rey, and one European Cup triumph during his time there. Towards the end of his eight seasons at the Nou Camp, he was linked with a move to Manchester United - although such a transfer never came to fruition. He instead returned to home club Mallorca and made a further 149 league appearances, even helping them capture the 2003 Copa del Rey. Barcelona, meanwhile, embarked upon a barren run of form, winning no further league titles until 2005. Despite all this, he isn't even the most famous sportsman in his family - being the uncle of tennis superstar Rafael Nadal!
