10 Predictions For 2015 Major League Baseball Season

A new season likely means a new World Series Champion. But who??

The 2015 Major League Baseball season started this week and as always it's a marathon rather than the sprint. The season runs 162 games from the start of April through the end of September for the regular season and then the playoffs take place in October. It's the American sport with the most games in a year, but it's also the sport that proven to have the most competitive balance in the last few years. Baseball wasn't always balanced. There was a trend for many years where a lot of the richest teams were the ones making it deep in the playoffs. It's not like that now after the Kansas City Royals made the World Series last year. There are fans of every team that are sitting there this week thinking maybe "we" can make the playoffs. That's what sports fans want. If you watch some professional sports leagues like the Premier League in European football then you know there's really only a handful of teams that have a shot to win the title. In baseball, it's pretty wide open. Now that the new season is here, it's time to take a look at some of the things that might happen and in six months see how right these predictions are. Some of them might turn out to be great while others will be laughable by the time we get to October. That's what make sports great. They are the best "reality" show out there. Here are ten predictions for this year's baseball season.
