The Blues were linked with a £50 million move for the sensational South American and when news surfaced earlier this month that his move to Barcelona might fall through, the Europa League champions were given fresh hope of landing his signature. But those hopes have now been dashed and the prodigal forward will be trotting out at the Nou Camp next season after all. And that's bad news for incoming Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, who wanted to bring the star to the Bernabeu during his days at Real Madrid and was a big admirer of the youngster. Both he and the Blues will now have to look elsewhere for a striker as they seek to find a replacement for Fernando Torres, who only has one league goal to his name this year.
