Coventry City: 4 Teams Who Come Back From Liquidation

coventry Seeing another team liquidated is heart-breaking. It€™s extremely difficult to imagine just how those fans are feeling and the problem with British Football right now is it is become all too regular an occurrence. Despite being a rarity in the Football League many former Football League Teams and other Non-League sides have fell in recent years, including Chester City, Darlington, Telford United and Rushden and Diamonds. Coventry City fans have received the news today that they have all been dreading. The club has been unable to win its off-field battles and the club has entered liquidation. Every cloud has a silver lining however and Coventry will undoubtedly rise again from the ashes and relive former glories. Just to reassure them here€™s a look at five teams who€™ve proven that it can be done.

4. Chester FC

chester Chester FC€™s return to the Conference Premier was sealed last year after an incredibly impressive season in the Conference North saw them win the title, losing only 3 games on the way and finishing on a whopping 107 points. Chester FC was formed in 2010 following the liquidation of Chester City FC. The club is supporter owned and since they entered the Northern Premier League Division One North back in the 2010/11 season they have won three straight league titles, making an instant return to the level with the former club was at. Since being formed Chester FC has experienced nothing but success and I fully expect to see the side make a return to the Football League in the next few years. Who knows, they could even manage it this season.
