Liverpool have been flashing their cash all summer long, starting off with the surprising signing of Fabinho for just over £43m from Monaco. It's a lot of money, but the Brazilian defensive midfielder could turn out to be a great investment for the Anfield side, and possibly for fantasy managers too.

The 24-year-old is priced at £6m in the fantasy game. Normally, defensive midfielders aren't smart selections for fantasy football, but Fabinho is different. He's actually quite prolific for such a defensive player, racking up 22 league goals and 8 assists over the last three seasons.

It's worth pointing out that the majority of Fabinho's goals came from penalties. He was Monaco's top taker and could take over that role at Liverpool too, boasting a perfect 100% success record during his time in France. With the tricky dribbling skills of Salah, Firmino, Mané, and others helping Liverpool win plenty of penalties, Fabinho will be waiting to tuck them all away and potentially rack up a nice number of goals for such a relatively cheap fantasy player.
