I think we would all agree that this seasons title race has been one of the most spectacular that we have seen from recent years thus far; it will certainly be interesting to see how it all works out by the end of the season. Whats made it so good is the number of teams involved in it with the current top four separated by just six points. It has certainly been interesting that there have been a number of teams involved at the sharp end that we wouldnt have expected while others have struggled more than we would have thought. One of the teams that has excelled this season is Liverpool; they actually found themselves top of the table at some point during the festive period. However, they have now slipped to fourth after suffering two defeats from their last three games; some people may think that on the back of those losses to Man City and Chelsea we shouldnt be taking them seriously. I would think though their results and performances this season means they should certainly be taken seriously between now and the end of the season.
