His CV is so sparkling it is practically tinted in gold-dust and will make even the most accomplished of managers weep as he ponders what he has done with his life.
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini may be quaking in his Stefano Bemer shoes at this news. Yes, he guided City to their first League win in 44 years, but two consecutive failures to even get his side out of the Group Stages of the Champions League has led to speculation that he could find himself replaced by Guardiola should the Spaniard prefer to try his hand on the Premier League.
