Man Utd Transfer News: Robin Van Persie £20 Million Bid - Latest
Manchester United will increase their offer to £20 million for Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie this week in a bid to finally land the Dutch goal machine.

Veteran Fergie admitted last week that The Gunners were making it difficult for the signing to go through but reports in the Star suggest he is going to ramp up his pursuit of the forward this week. The question now becomes whether Arsenal would accept a £20 million offer for perhaps the Premier League's best player. Without his performances and goals last season, Arsenal would likely have finished outside of any European spots, let alone the Champions League and Wenger will need to way up whether his new recruits Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud - and potentially further signings - could fill in the void that Van Persie's departure would bring at the Emirates.
