Newcastle: Remy Cabella Ignored By France

French journalists call his Newcastle career so far "worrying".

Just as Roy Hodgson has released his England squad for the upcoming (annoyingly distracting) European qualifiers, French manager Didier Deschamps has put his own selection out, and there's no place for Remy Cabella. Obviously, he's suffering at the minute for a lack of first team action having been dropped in the wake of some inefficient performances, and kept out of the team by more natural wide-men. Inevitably, he will be back in the Newcastle team, especially with that high price tag to his name, but Deschamps has avoided picking players who aren't in form (for the most part.) When questioned as to why Cabella was snubbed, French football journalist Jano ResseguiƩ, who works for RMC responded that he simply wasn't getting enough game time on Tyneside, and that it was worrying for him: https://twitter.com/Jano_Resseguie/status/530350202163838976 That begs the question of why Yohan Cabaye seems to be invincible in his international manager's eyes, despite appearing only a few times for PSG, and looking terrible along the way. Perhaps it's just easier to pick someone who isn't playing right under your nose, rather someone who isn't playing in the most televised league in the world... Moussa Sissoko was included in the squad, and rightly so.
