WhatCulture.com are looking to hire a Newcastle United Content Producer. The role would see the candidate produce articles such as features, top-ten lists, news reports and match analysis about Newcastle United and wider footballing world. The candidate would also be expected to attend regular Newcastle United home (and possibly some away) games during the course of the following season, so weekend work would be probable. The role would carry an initial 10 week trial period, with a view to a full-time position. Role Requirements Candidate must be passionate about Newcastle United football club; a life-long fan a must. Strong writing and communication skills. Editing skills and experience will stand you in good stead, but is not required.Well-versed in social/mobile media. You should be comfortable utilising Twitter and Facebook.An eye for detail, punctuation and grammar is a must. Eager for success. Comfortable working either as part of a team, or on your own. It would be highly advantageous to the candidate if they had interest in and could write about Football Manager and FIFA football games, although not a prerequisite. Working Environment Must be able to work from our Newcastle office. While office hours are generally 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, candidates must have a flexible work schedule and be open to working weekend days.
