Newcastle United's 2013/14 Blue Away Kit Officially Revealed

Screen Shot 2013-05-15 at 18.06.05 PUMA have officially unveiled Newcastle United's new "Wonga" sponsored 2013/14 away shirt for next season. Additionally, the club have also revealed the new away goalkeeper's top for next season. The kits have been described as featuring an "insignia blue shirt, shorts and socks, with light blue trim to complement both the colouration in the iconic Newcastle United club crest and the logo of new principal sponsor, Wonga.com". Both kits are modelled in official promotional stills (above) featuring Newcastle defender Steven Taylor and goalkeeper Rob Elliot. With the reveal of the new kits coming just four days before Newcastle's final game of the season against Arsenal, we can now probably expect the club to give these kits their first run-out on Sunday at St. James' Park. Newcastle fans can pre-order the new strip from as early as Thursday morning, ahead of the online and official club store sale from 9am, further fuelling our guess that the club will wear the kit at the weekend. Newcastle United confirmed their survival for another season in the Premier League with the 2-1 victory at Loftus Road against Queens Park Rangers and now have nothing but pride to play for in front of their home fans on Sunday. The game against Arsenal at St. James' Park will be screened live on Sky Sports.
