Newcastle United's New Third Kit Revealed For 2012/13 - It's Lime Green!

Newcastle United's third kit for the new season has been revealed in the new Premier League handbook.

Newcastle United's third kit for the new season has been revealed in the new Premier League handbook. Although only a mock-up image, we can tell that it is a lime green top with blue shorts and green socks with a blue horizontal stripe. According to nufcblog.com, the handbook officially refers to the colours of the strip as lime with navy blue trim. As a third shirt usually indicates "European kit" (although not being in Europe for the past five years has not stopped United releasing an extra shirt annually), it is surprising that Newcastle have yet to officially unveil their new kit on the eve of tomorrow night's Europa League encounter in Greece against Atromitos. Then again, Newcastle just wore their new home strip without any fanfare or unveiling during a pre-season match in Germany so there's likely a big possibility they will be wearing the new kit tomorrow night OR possibly against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. To get some idea of how the shirt will match up to the official image, here's a mock-up of all United's colours this season in the Premier League handbook;
