2. Roberto Soldado
Spurs need at least two new strikers this summer, that much is apparent. Especially if they sell Emmanuel Adebayor,
as expected. Such a scenario would leave Jermain Defoe as the only senior striker at the club, and the 30-year old can't be relied upon to keep fit and play every week. That's why Villas-Boas has been weighing up
a big-money move for Valencia's Roberto Soldado, who scored 30 goals in 46 appearances for the Spanish side last season. The former Real Madrid man could help provide Spurs with the same sort of goal-scoring threat Bale currently carries, and if fans are concerned the flow of goals would be stunted were Bale to leave, they need not fear that any longer should Soldado move to England.
