The Mirror Online has posted several videos of bitter Arsenal fans reacting to Robin van Persie’s controversial decision to sign for Manchester United.
The Dutch international had said in his first interview as a Manchester United player on Friday that nobody was angry with him over making the switch to Arsenal’s Premier League rivals and that he isn’t angry with anyone. When viewing the reactions of Arsenal fans, it’s clear to see that The Gunners’ fans are disgusted by their former captain turning his back on the Emirates, to the point they burn the shirt they paid money for and once wore proudly.
In the videos Arsenal fans are seen burning shirts worth £40 and more with Van Persie’s name on the back. Whilst Manchester United fans are buying shirts with v.Persie on, it seems Arsenal fans are doing everything to the destroy their memories of RVP.

Arsenal fans, what are you thoughts on RVP transfer? Is he still a part of Arsenal’s history or is he now simply not worth the memories?

So pathetic; they forget they’re burning the badge as well.
RVP, the man with a golden boot and a glass leg? He was great for 1 season… out of 8. He will never be an Arsenal Legend and has passed his sell by date. I feel that Man U just bought some dead wood. Next injury? Give it a couple of months.
