10 Awesomely Cheesy Doctor Who Creatures

The-Happiness-Patrol-2 The beloved science fiction classic Doctor Who has been around for fifty years, and a show doesn't get to that golden anniversary without having something special. That said, over the decades viewers have been treated to some questionable creature designs. Never a show with a huge budget, Doctor Who has always focused on the story and when it came to creating monsters...well, they did the best they could with what they had. For Who skeptics, this has been a particular bone of contention. But for fans, the lovably daft alien designs are just part of the charm.

10. The Scribble Creature (Fear Her)

Scribble With all of the massive missteps that exist in Fear Her, it's almost understandable that the Scribble Creature might escape notice. Almost. Apparently at some point in every artist's life, when they're up into the wee hours of the morning, drinking their twelfth cup of coffee, a thought crosses their mind and they decide, "Sod it, I'll just make a scribble monster." I don't know how else this lazy, unimaginative creature came into being. Doctor Who usually smacks of having grand ambitions, but perhaps not the money or technology to see them through; this, on the other hand, just seems like giving up.
