10 Brilliantly Simple Opening Credits In Awesome TV Shows

8. Mozart In The Jungle

Mozart in the Jungle uses simple, striking titles that maintain a similar style each season whilst changing in detail each episode. Brisk, energetic and stylish, they mirror the show's classy yet accessible style.

Season 2's credits are especially eye-catching. Set to a classical arrangement of Phoenix’s “Lisztomania”, the visuals accentuate and elevate the music. The art borrows its geometric, colourful style from the vinyl sleeves of classical music records from the 40s and 50s; lines, squiggles and mutating blocks dance on screen, each shape representing a different instrument within the mix.

Together, these shapes convey the way that individual parts that make up the orchestral whole - just as the show follows the individual musicians that form the ensemble.
