This year is the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, and who would have ever thought that in the half century since its humble beginnings, this show would turn into the global phenomenon it is today. The show’s reach extends from across the pond to across the world. That being said, there is a lot of Doctor Who swag out there ranging from posters to TARDIS coasters. With all this cool stuff floating around, it may be hard to decide what to splurge your money on. Hopefully this list will give you some good ideas, especially if you don’t have any Doctor Who items yet.

10. TARDIS Hat
I couldn’t resist with this hat. I’m not even a fan of hats and I absolutely love this one. I own it myself, it’s comfy and soft. I would suggest it to anyone who lives in a place where you have to worry about cold weather, if you don’t mind a few weird looks in public. Personally, I think the looks are priceless and I get a lot of compliments from people who do know what the hell is on my head. It wouldn’t be a proper list without having the TARDIS in it, because the TARDIS is one of the few things that is always with The Doctor. Out of all the TARDIS products, this one is my favorite.
However, if you really detest hats, you have plenty of other options if you want a little bit of TARDIS in your life.

Armed with nothing but a sonic-screwdriver and an apron, I will set off!
A 12″ or 18″ inch remote controlled Dalek is a must have.
Also one needs at least one or two action figures and some of the Big Finish audio stories.

You’re right with the fanmade stuff. I have daleks and screwdrivers that I’ve bought but the best doctor who thing I own is a ‘the angels have the phonebox’ t-shirt that I got specially made.
I have tons of licensed Who toys, books, shirts etc. But my favorite item is my glow in the dark TARDIS t-shirt I got off of etsy. It glows in the freaking dark! You can get one too.
