9. South Park - Osama Bin Laden's Demise
The Simpsons isn't the only animated show with a working crystal ball in the writers' room. South Park also has an eerie track record for predicting the future.
Case in point, Osama Bin Laden died on 2 May 2011 after being shot in the head by a Navy SEAL, but on the show, he died eight months earlier in much the same way.
Granted, predicting that the world's most wanted terrorist would one day be killed is a bit like predicting Crystal Palace will get beat at the weekend, but this isn't the only time life has imitated South Park.
The show also predicted Miley Cyrus's pop music career, the banning of racist flags in the US, and Mel Gibson's antisemitism scandal.
