12th Doctor Who Revealed In BBC Special On Sunday - Is It Peter Capaldi?

PC According to DoctorWhoTV.Co.UK, BBC has slated a special for this Sunday entitled "Doctor Who Live: The Next Doctor". The report leaked from "press sources" describes the special below;
"The show is going to be filmed in front of a live studio audience with Zoe Ball unveiling the next Doctor. The show will also feature interviews with past Doctors and companions."
What's more, Peter Capaldi, famous for his role as Malcolm Tucker on "The Thick of It" (as well as guest star in both Doctor Who's "The Fires of Pompeii" and Torchwood: Children of Earth), has somehow topped the list of betting odds for who's going to be taking the reins of the TARDIS. With all of this commotion in the air, it's going to be a tough wait from now until Sunday to see if this is in fact the moment we've been waiting for. Doctor Who will return with the 50th Anniversary special on November 23rd, with a simulcast ensuring a synchronized viewing experience for worldwide audiences. It will then come back for the Christmas Special, which will be Matt Smith's swan song and the mystery Doctor's debut. What say you, What Culture Republic? Do you fancy Capaldi for the role, or is there someone else you're holding out hope for? (And please, don't say Helen Mirren. We've heard that one before.) Hit back in the Comments below!
