13 Characters That Should Appear In The Supernatural Spinoff

Supernatural-820-Pac-Man-Fever-sam-dean-charlie Last week it was announced by CW head Mark Pedowitz, that the network's star series Supernatural would be getting a pilot for a proposed Chicago-based spinoff that would follow families of hunters and monsters and how they interacted with one another. For all the specific details on that announcement, you can read our original story here. What was a takeaway for fans was that the new show would be an ensemble and it didn't currently sound like existing Supernatural characters (outside appearances by the Winchester brothers themselves) was in the works for the show, which would feature a fresh cast of new faces. While there's no reason to think that will be otherwise, with audiences getting their first look at those characters in the season 9 back-door pilot, the statements made don't exactly rule out the possibility that established characters won't eventually join the show if it does make it to series. In fact, it's quite likely that other members of the Supernatural universe absolutely would show up at some point if the producers and writers wanted to establish some common thread between the two series. With Supernatural and the Winchesters showing no signs of slowing down, it's highly likely that both shows would run next to each other in the season line-ups (if not in adjacent timeslots). Like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel before them, there would be plenty of room for sharing of arcs and characters without forcing either series down a path that would betray its personal trajectory. In that spirit, here's a list of characters currently populating the dark world of Supernatural that would be wonderful additions--or even just visitors--to the intended Chicago ensemble spinoff. Let's get started with a couple who are no strangers to the paranormal or being part of a big cast...
