Shonda Rhimes is one of the most important people at ABC right now, and indeed a powerful figure across the TV industry - but even her TV shows can get cancelled. While Grey's Anatomy gets a 14th season and Scandal a seventh, ShondaLand's The Catch is coming to an end after just two seasons.
The comedy crime drama, which stars Mireille Enos as a P.I. and Peter Krause as her con-artist fiancee who defrauds her, pulled in just over 3 million viewers a week on average, and only 0.68 in the all-important 18-49 category. That put it close to the bottom of ABC's ratings, so it's not a surprise to see it go.

A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
