24: Legacy Season 1 Review - 4 Ups & 6 Downs

No Jack Bauer? No sale.

24: Legacy has just finished up its 12-episode run, so what better time for a post-mortem? It's fair to say that fans and critics alike have been rather divided on the show's Jack Bauer-less return to screens, and with good reason, considering how so much of Legacy's run felt like a pale imitation of the classic original.

It absolutely picked up later on and delivered a few genuinely solid episodes for sure, but fans who've stuck with the show since the beginning may feel their patience running out, especially given the generally uneven quality of the last few seasons.

If 24: Legacy does indeed return for a second season, there are clearly a lot of wrinkles to iron out, but it's not completely beyond redemption either.
