4. Focus on the Originals
I think RIB could have been a bit braver this year and focused on Tina, Blaine, Brittany, Sam, Joe and Sugar and just have got the mysterious groups of Cheerio-Troubletones girls - who randomly appeared at Nationals in Season Three - to perform with them. After all, I think, its these characters that made the show in the first place and, ideally, I would just have them say cheerio (or Cheerios) to McKinley after Season Four. Glee is not a show which puts much stock into the location it is set in. Lima is very nondescript in the series and is often lamented about, by the ambitious characters determined to leave for pastures greener. I think a LA / NYC split would be more interesting for Season Five. Arent we getting tired of the constant Sectionals / Regionals / Nationals routine anyway? Really, there are only so many variations they can do; Win / Lose: Win / Win / Lose: Win / Win / Win: Lose / Win / TBA. Sorry but its getting a little tired now.
